Printed by Richard Jugge and John Cawood, St. Paul’s Churchyard, London (colophon). First Edition, first issue. Octavo, later full polished leather, slightly pitted, rebacked, gilt, with new endpapers; original blanks at front & rear covered in contemporary manuscript notes which extend to margins of colophon and final page of text; damp-staining affects blanks and the margins of the last pages of text; fol.81 and 235 each with a corner torn away resulting in the loss of a few words of text which is otherwise intact; fol.214 heavily damp-stained with slight loss to parts of the border. Few pages with marginal glosses.
