Gibbs Bookshop, Manchester: the domain name and website of www.gibbsbookshop.co.uk and its related names .com, .net and .org  The website was established in 2004 but the trading name of Gibbs Bookshop of Manchester goes back to 1922 when the business was established by Robert F. Gibb, the current owner’s grandfather, one of the early members of the ABA. The business was continued and developed by Tony Gibb (1926-2009) and later became a member of ILAB. While at one time Gibbs Bookshop handled a wide range of titles, in more recent years it has largely confined itself to Antiquarian. The server for Gibbs’ domain names is Swift Internet. Maintenance fees are paid up to 18th October 2016. The successful buyer will receive full co-operation for the transfer of ownership from the current owner.
