Great Britain 1840-1951 mainly used collection in Windsor Sovereign album; with 1840 1d (3) and 2d; 1841 1d (5) and 2d (6); other line-engraved including 2d Stars (5 + pair), 1d Plates complete (less 77 & 225, pl.223 damaged), 2d plates complete, ½d plates complete (pl.9 very doubtful); Embossed 6d and 1s (2) with faults; impressive surface-printed range to 10d (2), 1s (21), 2s (6), 2s6d (3), 5s (5), 10s (3), £1 brown and £1 green, but in usual mixed condition; 1884 Lilac & Green set VGU, good colour; EVII to £1; George V to 10s (5); PUC £1 (violet parcel cancel); good Postage Dues; good Officials including I.R.OFFICIAL 5s mint ovpt. SPECIMEN (closed tear). STC £61,000. Mixed condition but many good to fine.
