Description of a Tour in Italy 1869, an original manuscript entered in an exercise book, 66pp, written in a clear hand, describing a holiday taken by Captain & Mrs. Armitage, their three children, governess and servant, of Alderley, Cheshire, who sailed via Bristol in October; and subsequent descriptions of a Tour on the Continent 1882 (40pp), the Channel Islands & Brittany 1892 (14pp), and Switzerland & the Tyrol 1893 (2pp). 9 x 7.25”, cloth-covered boards, a little marked. Fine internally.
