John Lindsay A Vindication of the Church of England, and of the Lawful Ministry thereof,  Richard Wilkin and others, 1728; folio, bound in full panelled calf, a portion chipped away from upper left corner of front board, hinges weak; backstrip with gilt decoration to each compartment with fine gilt title; some damp-staining mainly confined to front and rear leaves. Text complete. Ownership signature of Sir Thomas Grosvenor (1693-1733) ancestor of the Dukes of Westminster whose bookplate is on the front pastedown dated 1884.
