Slavery in Jamaica: an archive of documents 1760-1828 concerning sugar plantations including eight inventories of negro slaves with their names, ages, skills and market values, all eight inventories dated 1759-1760; plus bundle of related correspondence & documents, mostly detailed letters from estate managers of the period 1760-1780. Condition is generally fine though a few documents have tears along filing folds.
