Queen Victoria (1819-1901): Court Document appointing Edward Ramshay as a Beadsman at Durham Cathedral, dated May 1870, with impressed Duty Stamp and London datestamp. Three pages of text signed by the Queen’s private secretary, countersigned Victoria Reg. at top of first page. The foolscap document has been folded as a letter sheet with an address panel on the reverse to the Dean of Durham Cathedral. VG. Together with a printed copy of a two-page autograph letter from Victoria written at Windsor Castle 1887.
